Regretfully we have to announce that the Cannonlive programme has been cancelled for financial reasons. We advise that no further bookings will be taken at this stage. We would like to thank all those over the years that have supported us, both Punters and Musicians. The Wednesday jam session will still happen but that too will go if support does not improve.

Pat Mason and Paul Alexander run the' Cannon Live' which is an Acoustic and Roots Music venue.  

The Club, which has now run for around 10 years, books live acoustic music acts such as Bluegrass, Country, Folk Music, Irish Music, in fact any kind of acoustic music that only requires the minimum of amplification so that the audience can hear the music in as near to natural sound as possible.

They like to book up and coming musicians so that they get experience of playing to an audience, as well as booking professional acts.  There is a music session in the bar every Wednesday evening when all players are welcome including beginners.
